Crystal Rig Wind Farm – Innerwick, East Lothian
Our work on this project is in partnership with principal contractor RJ McLeod, providing expert facilities, security, and site services to support the construction and operation of Crystal Rig IV.
About the Crystal Rig Wind Farm
Developed by Fred. Olsen Renewables, Crystal Rig Wind Farm Spans East Lothian, and the Scottish Borders. First commissioned in 2003, the site now comprises multiple phases and over 100 turbines, with a total generation capacity exceeding 260 MW, enough to power around 200,000 homes.
The current Crystal Rig IV phase involves 11 new turbines generating approximately 48 MW. This extension strengthens Scotland’s renewable energy infrastructure while delivering lasting economic, environmental, and community benefits.
