Deborah has led JSL Services Ltd since 2005, having started with the company in 1999, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of the business, from day-to-day operations to front-line tasks. She has steered the company through economic challenges, industry evolution, and key regulatory milestones, including the PSIA Act 2001 and voluntary SIA ACS accreditation, making JSL one of the first businesses in Scotland to achieve this in 2007.

Known for her approachability, courage, and decisive leadership, Deborah is a risk-taker who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo. As a female leader in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she champions inclusion, empowers her team, and fosters a culture where ability, innovation, and integrity come first. Her vision and dedication continue to inspire her colleagues and set the standard for excellence across every part of JSL.

Mariah joined JSL Services Ltd in July 2020 to work as an Admin Assistant whilst completing her BA Hons in Events Management with Marketing, she quickly progressed to Office Manager in 2023 before recently being appointed Associate Director.

Having supported the business in various capacities over the years, she understands JSL from the ground up, an experience that shapes her practical and people-focused approach to leadership. Passionate about the company’s future, Mariah is committed to continuing to build on the strong foundations already in place and supporting continued growth.

Inspired by the leadership of Managing Director, Deborah, she is focused on helping expand the business while maintaining the values of reliability, integrity, and high standards that define JSL.

Melissa has worked alongside JSL Services since 2013, bringing extensive expertise in ISO Management Systems (9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, 27001) and UKAS-accredited auditing. She is a qualified NEBOSH and IOSH Executive, with broad Health & Safety knowledge, and has been a trusted part of JSL, helping the business maintain its SIA ACS accreditation and consistently rank among the top-scoring Approved Contractors.

With experience in CHAS, Safecontractor, Constructionline, and Achilles, she combines regulatory insight with practical operational guidance. Confident, motivated, and detail-focused, Melissa ensures JSL maintains the highest standards in compliance, safety, and quality across all areas of the business.

Grant joined JSL Services Ltd in 2017, bringing with him over 25 years of experience within the Security Industry and a strong background in Fire and Security Systems. Beginning his career as an Engineer, Grant progressed through supervisory roles before moving into Senior Management. This hands-on foundation has given him a comprehensive understanding of both technical delivery and operational leadership.

With extensive expertise in CCTV System Installations and Maintenance, Grant has successfully integrated his technical knowledge into his role as Operations Manager at JSL, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. Grant is an extremely loyal, dedicated, and patient professional who prides himself on supporting both clients and colleagues. His adaptable approach allows him to oversee a wide range of operational responsibilities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Dean is an experienced relationship management and business development professional at JSL Services, combining commercial insight with a people-first approach. With a background in financial services and leadership roles at Standard Life and Unwin Associates, he excels in building strong client partnerships and driving sustainable growth.

Recognised for his fundraising and advocacy for Multiple Sclerosis, Dean has received national and local awards for his courage, determination, and community impact. His creativity, resilience, and professionalism underpin every client relationship he manages, ensuring long-term value and trust.

Known for his loyalty, dedication, and reliability, Gary is committed to supporting both clients and colleagues, ensuring that every site under his supervision operates smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. His long-standing experience and hands-on approach make him an invaluable member of the JSL Team.

Melisa provides vital Digital Applications Support across all areas at JSL Services Ltd. Since joining the company early 2025 as an apprentice, she has quickly developed strong operational and technical skills, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business.

Known for her organised approach, friendly manner, and calmness under pressure. Confident and proactive, Melisa isn’t afraid to speak up or tackle challenging tasks, making her a reliable and highly valued member of the team.
