Developing Confident Young Players
Our partner academy LB Football focuses on more than just football. Liam’s approach helps children grow both on and off the pitch, combining football training with positive habits and mindset development. The programme we are working on together is built around three key pillars:
Moving Well
Children develop football skills alongside balance, coordination, and movement games that help build strong, active bodies.
Fuelling Well
Players are encouraged to develop simple, healthy habits such as drinking water regularly, eating balanced foods, and understanding how good nutrition supports energy and performance.
Thinking Well
Weekly mindset themes help children build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward learning and improving. These lessons help LB Academy’s young players enjoy the game while developing skills that benefit them in school, sport, and everyday life.
Supporting Childhood / Youth Sport
Supporting Childhood / Youth Sport plays a vital role in communities. It gives young people a safe and positive environment to stay active, build friendships, and develop confidence. By supporting initiatives like this, both JSL and LB Academy are helping to:
