We are delighted to announce that JSL is taking on its fifth apprentice, continuing our commitment to supporting young people and providing opportunities to develop valuable skills and experience in the workplace.
Our apprenticeship programme has been a real success story for JSL. What makes it particularly rewarding is that all our previous apprentices have chosen to stay with the company beyond the completion of their apprenticeship. They became valued members of the team, developing their skills, confidence, and careers with us.
For us, apprenticeships are about much more than simply gaining a qualification. We believe in providing hands-on experience, support, and opportunities for personal and professional development, while giving apprentices the chance to become an integral part of our team.
A Lasting Experience
Our most recent apprentice, Melisa, recently completed her apprenticeship with JSL. Reflecting on her time with the company, Melisa said:
“JSL Services Ltd gave me the opportunity to complete my Digital Applications Support Modern Apprenticeship. When I first started, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I quickly settled into the role and received excellent guidance from the Office Manager and Director throughout my studies.
Since completing my apprenticeship, I have continued to develop my skills and take on a wider range of responsibilities, including supporting the team and assisting with various tasks across the business. Working alongside this team of individuals has given me valuable experience and a better understanding of how a business operates day-to-day. I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given at JSL and for the experience I have gained throughout my apprenticeship. It has been a rewarding experience and has helped me develop both professionally and personally. I would love to stay but my family are sadly moving away”
It has been fantastic to see Melisa develop throughout her apprenticeship, and we are proud of the contribution she has made during her time with us.
Investing in the Future
Taking on our fifth apprentice is another important milestone for JSL and demonstrates our continued commitment to investing in people and developing talent from within.
Our previous apprentices have shown how valuable an apprenticeship can be as the beginning of a long-term career. Their decision to remain with JSL after completing their apprenticeships is something we are particularly proud of and reflects the supportive working environment we aim to provide.
We look forward to welcoming our newest apprentice to the team and helping them make the most of this exciting opportunity.
